About UGHINC

Desilynn has her Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice, Bachelor’s in Special Education and

a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Substance Abuse

Counseling.

She has been servicing her community for 20+ years focusing on the in-just of the Justice

system, mistreatment of individuals suffering from Mental Health illness, and the Trauma in the

community. She advocates and strives to be the voice she felt she didn’t have in the community.

She currently sits on the Mental Health Community Stakeholder Advisory Council with

Milwaukee County, the Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) Community Advisory,

and is a current member of NAADAC and The Association for Addiction Professionals

Association.
